Terrible riots and criminal unrest in South Africa. This is a time of prayer.

Since former South Africa president Jacob Zuma has been put behind bar, all hell has broken loose. “The unrest was orchestrated, instigated and planned … It almost brought our country to its knees,” said acting Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni. The extent of the rioting exposed South Africa’s underlying economic problems, including high rates of unemployment and poverty. Unemployment is more than 32%, and it is above 64% for those under the age of 35, according to South African government statistics. More than half of the country’s 60 million people live in poverty, and more than 20% are food insecure. The country is one of the most unequal in the world, and that inequality has increased since apartheid ended in 1994, according to the World Bank. It is also worth to remember that South Africa has literally chased Prophet Shepherd Bushiri out of its soil whereas the former had made the country the HQ of his church ECG and possessed several investments in the country.

So you want to be used by God? It's not as easy as it sounds

So you want to be used by God? No problem BUT learn to be patient first.

Did you know that soon after Paul and John had lifted the crippled man, they were thrown in jail?( Acts 3). They were certainly used by the Holy Spirit but why were they treated so miserably?
It is easy to request that God use you for his work and it’s certainly noble but you have to be ready to face the backlash and persecution that ensue thereafter.

T.B Joshua celebration post

Death of renowned televangelist T.B Joshua. New updates!!

T.B Joshua, the great general of God has departed!! The author of the book of Ecclesiastes said it best:” There is a time for everything. A time to be born and a time to die.” (Ecc 3:1-2). Many are saddened by his loss but what’s most shocking are the few words he expressed moments before his trespass. “There’s a time for everything – time to come here for prayer and time to return home after the service.” Could it be that he was aware of his departure back to the Father?

He who watches over you does not sleep nor slumber

Yes, humans are weak and it’s safe to say there’s a limit to everything we can do. Our lifespan is so short we would be better looking after ourselves. But can we? In a world we can hardly predict nowadays, it is tough to survive on your own.
